Thank you for visiting our online store. Every Schultüte is lovingly handcrafted with great care and attention to detail, and we want your experience to be as enjoyable as possible. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Schmidtify

Schmidtify is a South African creative studio specialising in handcrafted, bespoke Schultüten and related products.

2. Ordering

All Schultüten are individually handmade to order and are created specifically for each customer.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive confirmation by email. Production will only begin once full payment has been received.

Because materials are purchased specifically for each order, changes can only be accommodated until your final design has been confirmed. Once production has commenced, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

3. Handmade Products

Every Schultüte is individually handcrafted.

The photographs shown on this website are intended as inspiration. While every effort is made to recreate your chosen design as closely as possible, slight variations in colours, materials, textures and decorative details are part of the handmade process and make every Schultüte unique.

4. Colours & Materials

Actual colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and material availability.

Occasionally, equivalent materials may be substituted if certain products become unavailable, while maintaining the overall look and quality of the design.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Full payment is required before production begins.

Schmidtify reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.

6. Collection & Delivery

Collection is available by prior arrangement from our home, conveniently located near the German School in Cape Town.

If delivery has been arranged, every effort will be made to deliver your order within the agreed time frame.

Once an order has been handed to the courier or collected by the customer, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.

7. Returns & Refunds

As every Schultüte is individually customised and handmade, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns or exchanges unless the product arrives damaged or is significantly different from the agreed design.

If your order has been damaged during delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it, including photographs of both the packaging and the product.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act.

8. Workshops

Workshop bookings are subject to availability.

If you are unable to attend your booked workshop, the following options are available:

• Transfer your booking to another available workshop date.
• Receive a take-home workshop kit together with instructions.
• Convert your workshop fee into credit towards a bespoke Schultüte.
• Request a refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All photographs, artwork, designs, logos, graphics and website content remain the property of Schmidtify unless otherwise stated.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.

10. Website Use

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, modify, distribute or misuse any content from this website without our written permission.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Any personal information collected through this website will only be used to process your order, communicate with you and improve our services.

12. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure that all information on this website is accurate and up to date, Schmidtify cannot guarantee that the website will always be free from errors or interruptions.

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased, except where otherwise required by South African law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape.

14. Changes to these Terms

Schmidtify reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website.
